House Manager / Residential Site Manager – I/DD Supported Living 

Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt

Pay Rate: $45,000-55,000 / year

Covenant Case Management Services is seeking an energetic and compassionate Live-In House Manager with experience in intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role is responsible for the overall management of the site and the supervision of direct care staff to ensure high-quality support for residents. This is a live-in position with a recurring schedule of 7 days on, followed by 5 days off. This role is non-exempt and focuses on day-to-day supervision, scheduling, safety, and resident well-being within one residence, with escalation to supervision as needed.

What You Will Do | Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate direct care staff assigned to the residence, ensuring performance and adherence to best practices.
  • Drive all scheduling activities for the house, fill in for any gaps in scheduling and escalate any scheduling challenges to the QP.
  • Work in the HRIS and EHR systems to support scheduling and compliance.
  • Manage house-level staffing activities, including scheduling, shift coverage, and on-call coverage as needed.
  • Take the lead for onboarding for new staff and provide ongoing, house-specific training on resident needs, review all resident ISPs, and related information.
  • Partner with the QP regarding individualized support and service plans are implemented consistently by staff within the home.
  • Maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and external service providers relevant to the residence.
  • Lead daily operations, including safety, cleanliness, maintenance, and stocking of required items (emergency supplies, medications, etc.).
  • Partner with QP to assist with and ensure all required staff training are completed and up-to-date.
  • Advocate for residents and families to ensure access to necessary services and resources.
  • Conduct regular house-level supervision meetings with staff, document performance, and address issues in collaboration with the Supervising Qualified Professional.
  • Be available for on-call crisis services as scheduled, with a clear escalation pathway for emergencies within the home.
  • Implement performance improvement measures and ensure compliance with program standards at the residence.
  • Ensure staff and contractors adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Represent CCMS in community activities relevant to the residence and participate in interagency meetings as appropriate.
  • Be in charge of house safety drills, inspections, and compliance with safety protocols.
  • Assist residents with move-ins and move-outs by coordinating schedules, checklists, and medication management as required.
  • Coordinate resident appointments and, when necessary, accompany them to required appointments.
  • Enter in “notes” for any shifts being covered to ensure compliance.
  • Assist with special projects as requested by leadership and senior leadership.
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Supervising Qualified Professional or Directors.

  • Experience: At least one year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD).
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving skills.
  • Resources: Reliable access to the internet, a cell phone, and dependable transportation.
  • Knowledge: Working knowledge of behavioral sciences and allied disciplines related to I/DD.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

  • Education: High school diploma, GED, or higher education from a recognized and accredited institution, required.
  • Criminal Background Check: Successful completion of a criminal background check, required.
  • Valid State Driver’s License, required
